Ghaziabad: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal criticised the move of Ghaziabad police to provide him
Z Pluse security despite his repeated denial to take security cover. He termed it as an attack on his
privacy. He said that he is an
Aam Aadmi of the country and is getting whatever gets a
khaas Aadmi (VIP) in the country. Delhi chief minister said that the decision of Ghaziabad police to provide him security cover is undemocratic and it is a case of human right violation. He also said that
Human Right Commission should take cognisance of the situation.
AAP chief said that this incident ( decision) proved that there was a need of reform in police system. He gave a clean chit to
UP government saying that there is no role of
Akhilesh Yadav led UP government in this case and said that
Ghaziaabad police are working independently in this regard. He said this incident ( decision ) once again proved that the people are not safe in the country. He said that the people could understand the plight of people with this incident, when a chief minister is being forced to take security cover in the country. Mr. Kejriwal said that he would soon meet president Pranab Mukherjee to apprise him about UP police decision to provide him security cover without his consent. Arvind Kejriwal said that a
high level conspiracy is being hatched in the country by the political parties to make him
VIP by providing high level security. He also demanded compensation from Ghaziaabad police for tranish his image. Mr. Kejriwal also announced that he would stage a dharna at
Jantar Mantar to press Ghaziabad police to withdrawal its security cover. Delhi chief minister threatened that if Ghaziaabad police didn't roll back its decision to provide him security then he would start
indefinite hunger strike at Ramlila Maidan in upcoming parliamentary election, in which vetran social activists
Anna Hazare would also take part. He said that
