Lalu Will Apologise For His Love Marriage Remarks

A group of youths held demonstrations before the residence of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, in protest of his remarks against love Marriage between JDU and BJP. Demonstrators also shown black flags to RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav when he was addressing an election rally in Patna. They also shouted slogan against him and demanded that RJD chief should apologise for his remarks. It is mention worthy here that RJD chief had said that there was love Marriage Between RJD and BJP. His remarks sparked all-around criticism in the country. Leaders of various parties cutting across party line condemned his remarks and said that his remarks had shown that he didn't want that women got equal right in society. In the mean time JDU and BJP came down heavily on RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and said that his remarks against love Marriage shown that he was against the women empowerment. BJP and JDU have also decided to hold a joint rally at Piya Milan Chauraha in national capital Delhi. A joint statement was issued in this regard by both BJP and RJD in Patna stating that both parties would oppose Lalu Prasad Yadav for his remarks against love Marriage. The Congress also criticised Lalu Prasad Yadav for his remarks against love Marriage. The party leader Digvijay Singh informed that a high level meeting held at congress president Sonia Gandhi residence to discuss over his remarks. In the meeting party leaders demanded that the party should end its poll pact with RJD. Later talking to reporters congress president Sonia Gandhi said that the party had decided to issue show cause notice to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. Seeing mounting pressure the RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said that he would apologise for his remarks against love Marriage in a grand rally in Patna after concluding all phase election. He said that agitators should sympathetically consider his busy shedule and they should give time to apologise. By Badbolan Guru.
